Quality Engineer 3

Responsible for reviewing functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables and backend database testing in Oracle SQL environment, including stored procedure validation; execute stored procedures, batch jobs and triggers in Unix/Linux, and identify test requirements from specifications; map test case to requirements and design test coverage plan; develop, document, maintain and execute test cases in HP Quality Center, and execute and evaluate manual and automated test cases and report test results; utilize SDLC, Agile, MS Visio, MS Project, HP ALM, HP Quality Center, Postman, SOAP UI, Jira, qTest, Tosca, and Secure GenAI to perform duties; facilitate test plan/case reviews and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business partners and cross functional team members, and identify any potential quality issues per defined process; escalate issues immediately to management; ensure validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements; and isolate, replicate, report, track defects and verify defect fixes.

Location: Detroit, MI and various unanticipated locations throughout the US;

Salary: $104,000 per year;

Education: Master's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Information Systems, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree);

Experience: Two (2) years in the position above, as a QA Analyst, as a Quality Analyst, as a Software Quality Engineer, as a Technical Analyst, or in a related occupation;

Other Requirements: Experience must include two (2) years' use of all the following: SDLC, Agile, MS Visio, MS Project, HP ALM, HP Quality Center, Postman, SOAP UI, Jira, qTest, Tosca, and Secure GenAI.

Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
