TRISTAR is seeking a Quality Control Specialist II/Process Coordinator for our government customer in Bloomington, IN We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Quality Control Specialist to join our team
The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing, ensuring, and overseeing compliance with established processes, creating new processes, resolving issues, and gathering key information to optimize workflow efficiency and effectiveness
This role is crucial to maintaining high-quality standards across all operational areas and improving overall process management Position Responsibilities Process Review: Regularly review existing processes to ensure they are followed accurately and consistently, identifying areas for improvement
Process Compliance: Monitor and ensure adherence to procedures, and quality standards throughout all operational stages.
Process Oversight: Provide oversight to ensure that processes are being executed correctly across projects, addressing any deviations or discrepancies
Process Creation: Develop, document, and implement new processes and workflows as needed to support efficiency, and compliance. Design new processes that are more efficient, effective, and scalable
Process Documentation: Document processes, including process flows, procedures, plans, and process maps to ensure that processes are clearly defined and understood by all stakeholders
Issue Resolution: Identify and troubleshoot process-related issues, working with relevant teams to implement solutions and prevent re-occurrences
Data Gathering and Analysis: Collect and analyze data related to process performance, quality control metrics, and effectivenesses to provide insights for improvement
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure process alignment with overall business objectives and to support continuous improvement initiatives
Reporting: Generate regular reports on process performance, and areas for improvement, and presenting findings to stakeholders Requirements

GIT experience is required
Technical skills within Information Technology are required but are not the main focus
Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions
Experience with process documentation, including flowcharts, process maps, and detailed procedural documents
Knowledge of process optimization tools and performance monitoring systems is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Familiar with Markdown or other markup language tools Attention to detail and accuracy
Process-oriented mindset
MUST be a US Citizen
Must possess active DoD Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one Education and/or Certification Bachelor's degree in Information Technology
