Description As a Quality Control Technician at Oak Grove Technologies, you will be responsible for ensuring comprehensive contract compliance, quality assurance, environmental compliance, and safety adherence across all departments. Your role will involve meticulous monitoring, reporting, and communication with department heads to uphold the highest standards of performance and safety. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in onboarding new hires, conducting security training, and managing incident reports. Requirements Responsibilities: Collect and Compile Monthly Quality Control Reports: Gather monthly quality control reports from various departments. Compile reports accurately, ensuring all necessary information is included. Review reports for compliance with contract requirements and quality standards. Organize and Maintain Documentation: Maintain a system for organizing quality control documentation. Ensure all documentation is properly labeled, stored, and easily accessible. Update documentation as necessary to reflect changes or updates in processes or procedures. Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information contained in documentation. Coordinate New Hire Orientations and Security Training Sessions: Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientations, ensuring all required materials are provided to new employees. Schedule and conduct security training sessions for new hires and existing staff. Ensure all employees complete the required security training and maintain compliance with security protocols. Keep records of employee training completion and update as necessary. Manage Incident and Injury Reports: Receive and document incident and injury reports from department heads or employees. Ensure timely notification of incidents and injuries to relevant parties. Investigate incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions. Maintain accurate records of incidents, including details of findings, solutions, and corrective actions taken. Conduct Quarterly Hazardous Material Inventory Updates: Coordinate and conduct quarterly updates of hazardous material inventory across all departments. Qualifications: Possess a minimum of two (2) years of QC/lead technician experience utilizing formal QC systems/processes in relevant industry or business functions (e.g., Firearms, Vehicle Maintenance, Scheduling, Inventory, Transportation, etc.).
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
Physically capable of performing assigned work.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Prior experience in quality control, compliance, or related field preferred.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
