Quality Control Manager - Water/Wastewater Project
up to $150k base + truck allowance, 401k, and bonus
A self-performing heavy civil contractor is hiring a Quality Control Manager for their Water/ Wastewater projects in Dallas, TX. The role is field-based and focused on maintaining strict compliance across all work activities, materials, and reporting.
What You'll Do
- Lead quality efforts on-site for Water/Wastewater projects
- Oversee daily inspections, materials testing, and documentation
- Prevent the need for rework
- Review submittals, certs, and drawings for compliance
- Coordinate closely with subs, in-house teams, and client reps
- Maintain reporting logs and support issue resolution when needed
- Train teams on quality protocols and safety requirements
- Manage third-party testing services
What You'll Need
- 5+ years of QC experience in heavy civil
- Experience supporting large public infrastructure builds
- Desirable experience with Wastewater Treatment Plants
- Able to interpret drawings/specs and manage inspection logs
- OSHA 30 and a strong working knowledge of industry standards
