The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for performing the required inspection operations based on the Job Traveler and Quality Criteria throughout the manufacturing process: Receiving, In-Process, Final, and Product Release.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (essential functions of the position):

- Conduct thorough inspections of in-process and finished products to ensure they meet specified quality and regulatory standards.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments and equipment to perform detailed measurements and tests.
- Document inspection results, including any non-conformances, and communicate findings to the quality assurance team and production staff.
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action processes to address identified quality issues.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspections, tests, and other quality-related activities.
- Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to resolve quality issues and implement improvements.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems (QMS) and regulatory requirements.
- Follow established quality control procedures and recommend improvements to enhance inspection processes.
- Ensure calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment and tools.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality and operational efficiency.
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or GED
• 1-2 yrs Inspection Experience
• Good communication skills both written and oral
• Good organization skills
• Experience using the following gauging: mics, calipers, comparators, height gauges, thread gages
• Basic Computer Skills
