Quality Control Inspector (Contract)
Location: Onsite
Hours: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (may shift to 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
Pay: $21 - $27/hr
Contract: 6 Months (possible extension)
About the Role:
We're hiring a Quality Control Inspector to perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of components and finished medical device products. This role is hands-on, requiring blueprint interpretation, use of inspection tools (e.g., Keyence, hand tools), and strict adherence to GMP/GDP standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform receiving and in-process inspections, including FAIs.
Use blueprints, GD&T, and tools to inspect parts.
Measure and interpret critical vs. non-critical dimensions.
Complete documentation: DHRs, COCs, labels, and QMS entries.
Verify drawings vs. actual parts, conduct line clearances.
Escalate nonconformances and support quality team feedback.
Ensure compliance with SOPs, GDP, GMP, ISO 13485.
Qualifications:
2+ years' QA/QC experience (GMP/GDP required).
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Proficient with inspection tools and basic computer skills.
Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and documentation accuracy.
Clear written and verbal English communication skills.
Able to work independently and in teams.
