Quality Contol Technician

Position: QC Technician

Duration: Temp to Hire

Shift: 1st

Location: Spring, TX 77388

Compensation: $19.00

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ability to review equipment calibration, validation, and maintenance records to ensure they are performed correctly and on-time.

• Ability to use measuring equipment to oversee / perform detailed inspections of components and completed assemblies at various phases of incoming inspection, production and throughout the manufacturing processes.

• Ability to document nonconforming material; clearly and accurately and report them the QA Manager.

• Coordinate with other departments and processes regarding material movement

• Systematically transfer material in ERP

• Interact with departments to coordinate information updates

• Data entry

• Follow procedures and processes

• Web-based data/document management

• Maintain paper files of all original documents; maintain electronic versions of these documents and the computer database.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• MINIMUM of 1 years worth of experience in Quality Control in a manufacturing setting

• Experience with calipers, micrometers, and gauges

• High school diploma

• Well organized and able to work minimal supervision

• Good verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read blueprints and schematics

• Ability to operate required equipment necessary for task at hand

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Pulling/pushing, bending, standing, sitting, and walking are all encountered throughout the workday

• Requires personal computing skills in Microsoft Office including Excel, Outlook and Word.

• Prior experience with applicable workmanship standards is a plus.
