About the Role We are seeking a
Quality Assurance Tester - Automation to ensure the
quality, functionality, and performance of enterprise-level web and client/server applications. This role will be responsible for
test planning, development, execution, and defect tracking across multiple phases of the
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The ideal candidate will have experience with
manual and automated testing, Java, and Selenium.
Key ResponsibilitiesTest Planning & Development - Design and develop test plans, requirements traceability matrices (RTMs), test cases, and test scripts from project documentation, including requirements, use cases, and design documents.
- Write detailed test scripts for automated and manual testing scenarios.
Test Execution & Defect Management - Conduct integration, functional, system, and regression testing to validate software quality.
- Identify, document, report, and track defects using industry-standard tools.
- Ensure test results are well-documented and communicated effectively to development teams.
Collaboration & Process Improvement - Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project stakeholders to understand requirements and improve software quality.
- Ensure adherence to QA processes and methodologies, including Functional, Integration, System, Regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Required Qualifications - 6+ years of specialized experience in automation and manual QA testing for enterprise-level web and client/server applications.
- Active Secret Clearance Required.
- Bachelor's degree or higher (Additional professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
- Strong understanding of all phases of the SDLC, including requirements analysis, test planning, test case design, and execution.
- Experience developing and executing automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.
- Expertise in QA methodologies, test case creation, and defect tracking.
Preferred Skills - Experience in performance testing and security testing.
- Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools.
