An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Assurance Technician to join a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. The role involves maintaining the highest standards of product safety, legality, and quality by supporting day-to-day Quality Assurance activities and ensuring compliance with internal procedures and external standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Inspect and approve goods inwards, raw materials, packaging, and finished products.

Monitor and control Critical Control Points (e.g., raw material intake, sieving, metal detection).

Prepare and commission samples for external lab analysis; enter results into SAP.

Support tea tasting sessions and perform blend build checks.
-
Monitor GMP standards and ensure hygiene compliance across production areas.

Investigate and act on non-conformances; escalate issues appropriately.

Assist in preparing for audits (IFS, Organic, Internal) and support new product development projects.

Accurately document and maintain quality records in line with QMS procedures.
About You:

At least 2 years' experience in a QA role within the food industry.

Knowledge of IFS, BRC, or similar food safety standards.

Experience with SAP and strong Microsoft Office skills.

Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

Sound understanding of production and warehouse processes.

Confident in identifying quality and safety issues and implementing corrective actions.
