POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the department supervisor/manager, the Quality Assurance Support Clerk/Corrective Actions Assistant is responsible for providing support for various tasks within the Quality Department as well as supporting the Corrective Actions Lead.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Essential functions are the core duties or tasks that the employee will perform. The following is a list of the duties that are central to performing the most basic functions of the job.
- Responsible for investigating corrective actions; working with the production employees/supervisor and inspectors to answer the corrective actions.
- Responsible for helping the Quality Department with reworks.
- Responsible for assisting the Inspection Team where needed (i.e., inspecting parts, filling out paperwork, etc.).
- Work with computers to input data, inspection tools and process specifications.
- Provide assistance to the Corrective Actions Lead and Quality Department, as needed.
- Interact with other departments to resolve quality issues.
- Adhere to safety regulations.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements: - Must be able to read and write in English.
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal).
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Great computer skills and experience utilizing software programs (Microsoft Office, etc.)
- Ability to work in a fast paced work environment.
- Experience working in the Aerospace Industry and/or Metal Finishing is beneficial, but not required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
