We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Specialist to play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing our Quality Management System. This position is responsible for driving improvements in supplier and plant quality by applying expertise to resolve production and product-related issues.


Supervisory Role

This position does not involve direct supervisory responsibilities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and refine quality assurance methodologies for both new and existing in-house processes.
  • Offer technical guidance to various departments on quality assessment procedures and validate outcomes.
  • Oversee internal quality corrective actions, ensuring they are timely and effective.
  • Engage with customers to understand their quality assurance needs, manage quality information flow, and address corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement internal quality standards to achieve organizational and customer satisfaction goals.
  • Coordinate the review and management of Inspection Standards, PCRs, ECRs, and ECIs.
  • Lead initial containment efforts, verify defect trends, and manage the disposition of non-conforming materials.
  • Prepare, verify, and maintain materials for the monthly Management Review Meeting presentation.
  • Manage and analyze testing data from production lines, reporting findings to senior management.
  • Ensure the work environment complies with ISO14001, IATF16949 standards, and adheres to safety guidelines and regulations.

Required Qualifications & Education

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience within a quality department or manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency in PPAP requirements and root cause analysis methodologies.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

  • Previous experience as a Quality Engineer or Supplier Quality Engineer in the automotive manufacturing sector is a plus.

Working Conditions

  • Must be able to lift items weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • Flexibility to work overtime when necessary.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
