Quality Assurance / Quality Control


Location: Brighouse

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:15AM - 5PM and Fridays 8AM - 1:15PM

Salary: 25,500 per annum


Scope of the Role:

This role is responsible for kit release, final product release, PMI & Ferrite testing of components, and compiling certificate packages in line with customer requirements. All tasks are carried out in accordance with Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental management systems certified to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and the Pressure Equipment Directive.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform kit release of components into assembly.
  • Conduct PMI (Positive Material Identification) and Ferrite testing on components to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Compile comprehensive Certification Packs for customers.
  • Carry out final visual inspections of assembled products to guarantee quality and compliance.
  • Manage the final release of products, including preparation of customer certification for new products and spare parts.
  • Maintain certification and MRB records for serviced equipment.
  • Inspect and verify paint application both physically and through certification review.
  • Enter QA data into internal systems accurately and efficiently.
  • Organise and maintain QA records and documentation.
  • Assist in updating QHSE spreadsheets and other key records.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Identify supplier and internal errors; raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) where necessary.
  • Investigate and resolve customer certification complaints promptly.
  • Action and resolve NCRs identified during kit release.
  • Ensure full compliance with all company standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Support the tracking and reporting of QHSE KPIs.
  • Provide support to colleagues during peak periods and staff absences.
  • Perform other duties as required by the department.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Strong computer literacy, with experience in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail with a methodical approach to work.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Experience with basic office filing and document management.
  • Prior experience with Ln systems (training provided if required).
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
