Quality Assurance Oversight Representative I Norfolk, VA This position is to support the NSWCPD SUBSAFE Certification Branch (Code 242) in performing NSWCPD SUBSAFE / LEVEL I Material Certifications including the following: Perform all Level 1 Material Certifications in accordance with the DON Mandated & Regulatory Level 1 Material Control Processes and Procedures: NAVSEA 0948-LP- and NAVSEA . Travel (5%) to vendor sites is in support of the material verification/analysis to develop quality records in support of the SS/LI certification of the finished product. Review quality records to support SUBSAFE and LEVEL 1 certification of finished products including Common electrical hull penetrator (EHP)s, High Data Rate hull penetrator, and OE-538 EHPs. Develop Technical Quality Assurance Requirements, to be reviewed and approved by the Government, in support of NSWCPD Code 24's procurement of Submarine Antenna and Periscope System and component parts. Packages shall include all technical requirements of the applicable contract, drawings, material specifications/standards, and the Quality Assurance standard applied in the Division 43 ISO 9001 Quality Assurance program. Review of Objective Quality Evidence (OQE). Research relevant reference data, review quality systems, procedures, OQE and in-process work processes to support SUBSAFE and LEVEL I certification of finished products in accordance with NSWCPD Code 242 Quality Assurance procedures. Requirements: Three (3) years of Quality Assurance experience working with quality systems, which meet either MIL-I-45208 or ISO 9000 standards. Microsoft Office skills (MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
