At Mount Zion Health and Rehab, we are looking for a compassionate and experienced Quality Assurance Nurse (LPN/RN) to join our dedicated team. As the Quality Assurance Nurse, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care while promoting compliance with all regulatory standards. This position plays a critical role in monitoring and improving the quality of nursing services provided to residents, and working closely with other healthcare professionals to drive continuous improvement.

Your Role:

Monitor and assess the quality of nursing services to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Develop, implement, and manage quality assurance programs to improve care and services.

Work with nursing staff to identify opportunities for improvement and implement corrective actions.

Assist in the planning, development, and evaluation of nursing care policies and procedures.

Perform audits, reviews, and inspections to ensure that standards of care are met consistently.

Collaborate with physicians, families, and patients to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.

Provide support for continuous quality improvement and corrective follow-up actions as needed.

Ensure proper documentation and reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Participate in staff training and education to promote quality standards.

Perform other duties as directed by management to ensure excellent care for all residents.

Who We're Looking For:

Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification in the state of Illinois

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Proven experience in nursing, preferably in long-term care or healthcare settings

Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills

A team player with a passion for providing exceptional care to residents

Dedicated to fostering a supportive, collaborative, and positive work environment
