Quality Manager - Medical Devices, California-Based

On-site Position - North Bay Area

We've partnered with an innovative, US-headquartered medical device manufacturer that's making significant strides in the vascular space. This company is known for developing and commercialising industry-leading technologies.


With continued investment in R&D, manufacturing, and QA/RA functions, they're now looking to appoint an experienced Quality Manager to oversee a multidisciplinary team across QE, QA and QC. This is a strategic leadership role with real influence on product excellence, compliance, and quality systems across the business.


The Opportunity


You'll take ownership of quality operations across inspection, documentation, GMP compliance, and clean room monitoring. This includes leading and mentoring a high-performing QA/QC team, supporting production, driving continuous improvement, and contributing to site-wide quality initiatives and audits.


Key Responsibilities:



• Lead daily activities across Quality Assurance, QC Engineering, and Receiving Inspections


• Oversee inspections of incoming materials and finished products


• Ensure adherence to cGMP/GDP and internal procedures


• Coordinate environmental monitoring and equipment calibration


• Support supplier quality, audits, and risk management processes


• Champion continuous improvement and team development


• Lead and manage a multi-discipline team with direct and indirect reports


What We're Looking For:


• Degree-qualified in Engineering or related field


• 10+ years of experience in the medical device sector or similar field


• 3+ years of leadership experience in QA/QC functions


• Strong knowledge of GMP, CAPA, internal audits, and clean room compliance


• A proactive, people-focused leader with a commitment to quality and collaboration
