A leading manufacturer is seeking an experienced SQF Quality Assurance & Safety Manager to lead quality assurance and safety operations in a high-speed manufacturing environment. What You'll Be Doing:

This is more than a traditional quality assurance role, this is a chance to shape the future of food packaging safety. In this role, you will:

  • Take ownership of all quality and plant safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee SQF and HACCP initiatives, driving certification readiness and audit performance.
  • Champion site-wide quality standards and safety procedures, leading efforts to exceed industry benchmarks.
  • Lead internal and external audits, manage corrective actions, and drive root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to implement best practices and optimize production processes.
  • Conduct training on GMP, HACCP, and safety protocols for employees at all levels.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues related to raw materials, production, and customer feedback.
  • Partner with leadership to define and achieve KPIs related to food-safe packaging and operational safety.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Certified SQF Practitioner with formal HACCP training.
  • 5+ years in food manufacturing or food-safe materials.
  • Familiarity with GMP, FDA, and customer-driven quality standards.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and drive change.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication abilities.
