Responsibilities

  • Ensure quality systems are established, implemented, and maintained in accordance with IATF/TS 16949 OR AS9100 specifications.
  • Coordinate customer quality audits of the company's quality systems.
  • Oversee annual improvements to the quality system, including procedures and application of APQP.
  • Identify and implement annual quality-related training programs.
  • Monitor quality performance, identify areas for improvement, and coordinate process enhancements.
  • Accumulate and evaluate quality data, ensuring necessary actions are taken and communicated appropriately.
  • Conduct supplier quality audits to ensure compliance with ISO and TS 16949 as required.
  • Coordinate internal quality audits and assist management with corrective action implementation.
  • Assist in the development and distribution of control plans.
  • Establish and maintain procedures to ensure purchased products conform to specifications and track supplier performance.
  • Provide data for updated lists of approved suppliers.
  • Develop and maintain incoming material inspection procedures.
  • Implement procedures for product traceability.
  • Administer compliance with PPAP requirements.
  • Monitor and control special processes through established procedures.
  • Implement statistical techniques for monitoring and control.
  • Ensure inspection and testing procedures are properly documented.
  • Manage procedures for inspecting, measuring, and testing equipment, maintaining necessary records.
  • Develop and track non-conforming product progress, establishing improvement plans.
  • Communicate corrective action plans to customers.
  • Maintain procedures for quality records control.
  • Perform all other assignments as directed.


Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of field experience, including statistical process control.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning, PPAP, MSA, and FMEA.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook) and Internet applications.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent quality experience.
