Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify areas for improvement in quality processes and systems including defining cost savings opportunities and management of continuous improvement initiatives that promote a culture of quality.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance programs and procedures meeting company and industry standards.
  • Develop, implement, and track critical KPI's, ensuing effective countermeasures are deployed achieving targeted goals while ensuring product and services meet defined thresholds.
  • Lead continuous improvement and process improvement teams offering training, development and facilitation of team deliverables.
  • Oversee and manage all Star Quality Ethic documentation to ensure accuracy and controls of procedures and related documentation.
  • Collaborate with stake holders to ensure thorough root cause analysis of quality concerns.
  • Manage and ensure compliance with all established quality standards including ISO 9000, ITAR, GRC, and EHS.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, quality/EHS management).
  • Proven experience in quality management, quality control, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ASQ Certified Quality Manager) preferred.
  • 7 or more years of experience in similar roles.
  • 2 or more years of leadership experience preferred.
