  • Implement and improve advanced quality tools including CMMs, vision systems, and metrology equipment.
  • Ensure regulatory and customer compliance, especially with military and Department of Transportation (DOT) standards.

  • Develop and mentor a team of quality technicians and engineers-instilling a culture of discipline, accountability, and pride in quality.
  • Collaborate across departments to fix problems at the source and reduce waste throughout the production process.
  • Modernize inspection capabilities and lead projects focused on data-driven process improvement.

Who You Are

  • A quality expert with 5+ years of experience in quality management, preferably in aluminum or metal manufacturing.
  • Deep knowledge of ISO 9001 systems, internal auditing, and QMS administration.
  • Skilled in precision measurement, using tools like micrometers, calipers, gauges, and advanced technologies like CMMs and vision systems.
  • Hands-on and action-oriented-you thrive both on the production floor and in front of leadership.
  • Strong background in Six Sigma (certification a plus), and statistical methods to validate and improve processes.
  • Comfortable training others-from engineers to supervisors-helping shift the organization's mindset toward disciplined problem-solving.
  • Known for being approachable, clear in communication, and proactive in solving quality challenges.
