We are partnered with an established manufacturing company seeking a Quality Manager to lead and enhance their quality assurance processes. This role is critical in ensuring product compliance, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and maintaining adherence to industry standards, including ISO 9001. The ideal candidate has a strong background in quality management within a manufacturing environment, with leadership experience and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Location: Greater Cleveland

Compensation: Direct hire, $100K+


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in quality management, including leadership within a quality department.
  • AS9100 experience is required.
  • Expertise in ISO 9001:2015 QMS (required); knowledge of IPC J Standard is a plus.
  • Strong background in internal audits, regulatory compliance, and process improvement in a manufacturing environment (Electrical Stamping or Molding preferred).
  • Proficiency in QMS and Microsoft Office Suite with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership, time management, and project management abilities.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for customer visits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and champion the ISO 9001-compliant Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Conduct internal audits, track quality metrics, and implement corrective actions to maintain compliance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, and external stakeholders to address quality concerns and drive improvements.
  • Lead validation activities, including New Product Process Validation and Change Product Process Validation.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and act as a key contact for customer and industry audits.
  • Manage and mentor the Quality Assurance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Oversee calibration programs and maintain adherence to overall product quality standards.
