As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your expertise will help in managing the quality control process, compliance with ISO standards, and driving continuous improvement.
Main Responsibilities: - Review and approve Corrective and Preventive Action Plans for products and processes.
- Assess and evaluate reliability testing, equipment service, calibration, and verification processes.
- Conduct thorough failure analyses, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Carry out internal audits in line with QMS, EMS, ISO 9001, and ISO 14001 standards.
- Coordinate regulatory audits, including UL (Underwriter's Laboratory) factory audits.
- Communicate regularly with customers and vendors, providing detailed reports as necessary.
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Shipping/Receiving, Warehouse, Program Managers, and Procurement teams to ensure quality standards are met.
- Develop and implement proactive solutions and strategies for the Quality department across the organization.
- Execute additional assessments and analyses as assigned.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or a related field, along with 3 years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in manufacturing, 3+ years in quality control, and 3+ years in a leadership role, or an equivalent combination of experience.
- Proven understanding of mechanical drawings and tools.
- Strong knowledge of server-level component design and computer system integration processes.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Hands-on experience in quality system training and comprehension of SPC (Statistical Process Control) principles and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects to meet tight deadlines.
- Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume, diverse environment across various functions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including long days, evenings, weekends, and travel to manufacturing and warehouse locations for meetings or training as needed.
