Job Title: Quality AdministratorJob Description

The Quality Administrator will be responsible for submitting and managing quality concessions (DERX) and root cause analysis packages, tracking submittals and responses to the customer on the C919 program. The role involves driving meetings, tracking action follow-ups by stakeholders, processing nonconformance items and workflows in a timely manner, and soliciting weekly prioritization of tasks and deliverables that align with business objectives. The Quality Administrator will take action on directions from cross-functional team members and leaders to support the team.

Responsibilities
  • Submit and manage quality concessions (DERX) and root cause analysis packages after initial training.
  • Track submittals and responses to the customer on the C919 program.
  • Drive meetings and keep track of action follow-ups by stakeholders on the program.
  • Process all nonconformance items and workflows in a timely manner.
  • Solicit weekly prioritization of tasks and deliverables that align with business objectives.
  • Take action on directions from cross-functional team members and leaders to execute support activities for the team.
  • Improve concession submittal processes and decrease processing time to full submittal for non-conformances.
  • Follow through on actions and improve tracking to address RCCA and prevent customer issue findings on shipped hardware.
  • Close 8D tracking items (DAX and DAC) in customer quality system to improve MRAS metric scores with customer.
  • Take on training opportunities as they arise.
Essential Skills
  • Organized and skilled in Excel.
  • Able to host meetings and input data to track actions and status.
  • Able to process documentation and detail-oriented.
  • Willing to communicate with people both external and internal to meet commitments.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • No engineering or quality experience required.
Work Environment

The role is based at a beautiful, large manufacturing plant located right on the water in Middle River, MD. The facility manufactures state-of-the-art components for aircrafts/airline customers, including Boeing and Airbus. The flagship product is the Nacelle/Thrust Reverser, a large brake system for jet engines.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
