Greco & O'Neal Wealth Strategies seeks a highly motived and detail-oriented Qualified Plan Administrator (QPA) to become part of our team. This seasoned individual will establish deferred compensation plans for new clients and manage our existing clients' deferred compensation plans, including any necessary compliance testing and 5500 tax filings.
Job Responsibilities
Accountable for end-to-end administration and compliance services associated with qualified retirement plans.
Client Support
Coordinate and communicate plan information, updates, and/or changes as needed.
Respond to client inquiries and assist plan participants with questions related to plan enrollment, cash-outs, retirement, termination, and deduction adjustments.
Assist the CPA and sales teams by actively finding opportunities for retirement plan development within the current client base.
Plan Administration
Manage all aspects of qualified retirement plan documents.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory changes.
Required compliance testing, contribution calculations, trust accounting, and Form 5500 preparation.
Represent the Deferred Compensation Plan while building relationships of trust, respect, and partnership.
Provide support to our CPA team by completing annual tax filings for the plans.
Minimum Qualifications
Five years of plan administration experience
OR
Any equivalent combination of experience and education that provides the applicant with the desired skills, knowledge, and ability required to perform the work.
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
Other Qualifications
Experience with workflow management software and proficiency in programs such as Relius or FTWilliam for administration and compliance is highly desirable.
Working knowledge of retirement and deferred compensation plans.
Associate's degree (Bachelors preferred) in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
Experience providing excellent customer service & establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with multiple business partners.
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Aptitude to quickly learn new systems and technology tools.
Strong organizational and project management skills. Must be able to handle multiple competing priorities and produce quality detailed work within tight timeframes with strong time management skills.
Ability to work effectively and collaboratively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Excellent oral and written communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
