Under general supervision, the incumbent will assist engineers in testing and inspecting products at various stages of
the production process and compiles and evaluates statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability
of products. Selects products for testing at specified stages in production and tests such parameters as dimensions,
performance, mechanical, chemical, or electrical characteristics. Sets up and performs destructive and
nondestructive tests (under various lighting, temperature, etc., conditions) on materials, parts, or products to
measure performance, life, or material characteristics. The QC Inspector may work in any of the following areas of
quality control: incoming material, process control, product evaluation, inventory control, product reliability, or
research and development.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Monitoring operations to ensure that they meet production standards
Recommending adjustments to the assembly or production process
Inspecting, testing, or measuring materials or products being produced
Measuring products with rules, calipers, gauges, or micrometers
Operating electronic inspection equipment and software
Accepting and rejecting finished items
Removing all product and materials that fail to meet specification
Reporting inspection and testing data such as weights, temperatures, grades, moisture content, and quantities
inspected

ESSENTIAL EDUCATION AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or GED
1 year of quality control experience, preferred
Ability to verify the quantity of products
1 year of shipping and receiving experience, preferred
Experience with quality management systems (QMS)
Math skills - data reporting, measuring, calibrating, and calculating specifications
Ability to stand for extended periods of time
A desire to achieve the best and ensure top-quality products
