QA Tester

Job Title: QA Tester
Location: Remote
Duration: 7 months on contract with possible extension

Interview Process: The candidate should be willing to provide feedback and bring innovation to the meetings

• 1-2 interviews; depending on if we feel the need for a technical assessment

• Staff Aug Director and 2 technical resources (Principal Engineering Mgr and QA Tech Lead)

• Staff Aug Director will manage interview scheduling

• Teams Interview with cameras on
Any tech assessment wouldn't occur until Round 2

Job Description:
We are looking for a React Contractor with a testing focus. Here are the details:

Responsibilities include -

• Designing and implementing manual functional tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions.

• Design, develop and execute automation tests cases

• Performing exploratory testing, identifying defects and coordinating resolution.

• Executing regression testing on software releases

• Review requirements and validate test findings, providing feedback and results to agile team.

• Be an active participant in Agile ceremonies including daily scrum meetings, sprint planning, sprint retrospective, sprint demo, backlog refinements etc.

Preferred Skills/Experience -

• Strong development background in React JS, preferred experience in Test Cafe for test automation.

• Database experience (SQL Server preferred)

• Comfortable with standard development tools such as Git, VS Code, Confluence/Jira

• Software Testing, Analytical & troubleshooting skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Effective management of time and priorities to ensure commitments are met

• Organized and methodical approach with good attention to detail

• Should be able to work effectively in fast paced, multi-tasking environment, under time pressure, in an agile environment with a desire to achieve excellence.
Should have 8+ years of experience.
