Quality Analyst (Tester) to join our team. This role involves writing
test cases, testing applications, validating results, and identifying and logging bugs. The ideal candidate will have expertise in
testing Java programs, working with
JCL on IBM/DELL mainframe operating systems, and
database technologies such as

Key Responsibilities: - Analyze business requirements and develop detailed test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.
- Perform testing activities for Java programs on distributed platforms.
- Work with Postgres and DB2 databases, including writing queries and verifying data accuracy.
- Execute test program changes, update test files, run tests, and review results to ensure program correctness.
- Utilize Jira for test case management and bug tracking.
- Prepare program-level and user-level documentation to support the software development lifecycle.
- Organize, manage, and provide clear guidance to teams to achieve testing goals and meet tight deadlines.
- Obtain user sign-off on all changes before moving to production.
- Follow organizational guidelines and procedures for source code management and migration.
- Continuously enhance software for improved efficiency and reduced operating time.
Required Experience & Skills: - Minimum of 5 years' experience in testing Java programs.
- Proven experience working with DB2 and Postgres databases.
- Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), including writing and executing test cases, integration testing, and deployment.
- Ability to troubleshoot, test, and debug software effectively.
- Strong analytical skills to support non-database functions, correct data errors, and generate analysis reports.
- Experience in comprehensive documentation for program and user-level support.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to adhere to organizational procedures for source code management and software migration.
Preferred Skills (Good to Have): - Knowledge of Java programming.
- Hands-on experience with AWS.
- Experience working with Kofax.
- Advanced Postgres DB experience.
