Title: QA Test Engineer
Location: Midwestern U.S. (Onsite - 5 days per week)

Description:
We are seeking a QA Test Engineer to conduct both hardware and software testing on financial transaction systems in preparation for software releases. This role involves analyzing business requirements, designing and executing test cases, reporting results, and collaborating with development teams to diagnose and resolve issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing methodologies, quality assurance, and experience working in regulated financial environments.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute test plans and procedures to verify software functionality.
Perform test case execution and report results using test management tools.
Conduct regression testing and document defects for issue tracking.
Collaborate with users to validate requirements and ensure software acceptance.
Configure and set up test environments, including hardware and network integration.
Support development teams by diagnosing issues and recreating defects.
Communicate test coverage status and quality metrics to stakeholders.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
Experience designing and executing test plans, scripts, and reports.
Proficiency in defect tracking and issue management tools.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Desired Skills:
Experience in financial transaction systems, banking, or teller operations.
Familiarity with financial transaction protocols and ATM software platforms.
Knowledge of system integrations and financial processing workflows.
Compensation:
Pay Range: $55-$60 Per HR
