Primary Skills: Playwright (Advanced), LoadRunner (Advanced), Performance Testing (Expert), Node.js/Java (Expert), Functional Automation (Expert) Contract Type: W2 Duration: 4+ Months Location: Remote, NY Pay Range: $55 - $58 per hour Job Summary: We are looking for a Senior Quality Test Engineer to implement robust test automation strategies using Playwright for functional testing and LoadRunner for performance testing. The role demands a solid grasp of Node.js to optimize application performance, alongside expertise in both functional and performance testing to assure product quality before release. The successful candidate will work remotely but must support Pacific Time (PST) working hours, contributing to crucial testing phases and collaborating closely with development teams for integrated quality assurance. Key Responsibilities: Design and execute comprehensive functional test suites with Playwright and performance testing strategies using LoadRunner. Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous testing. Analyze performance bottlenecks and collaborate with the development team for optimization. Maintain expert-level proficiency in testing tools for both functional and performance needs. Identifying areas for process improvement and staying up to date with the latest testing trends. Must-Have Skills: Strong hands-on experience in Playwright for functional test automation. Proficiency in LoadRunner (preferably DevWeb/TrueClient protocols). Solid experience in Performance Engineering, including testing, analysis, and system optimization.
