Summary:
You'll be responsible for building and executing test strategies and plans across multiple research platforms while working with engineering teams to identify and resolve defects. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented engineer, with experience building great software products and improving engineering efficiency. You'll also debug issues across the hardware and software stack including consumer applications running on device. Looking for candidates who are methodical, a self-starter, and meticulous about quality.
Job Responsibilities:
Ensure the delivery of high-quality software for Reality Labs research platforms.
Implement process changes to scale testing efforts across multiple research programs.
Plan, develop, and execute test coverage for multiple research platforms.
Identify quality trends, track and report on KPIs and deliver comprehensive analyses to research teams.
Diagnose issues, report defects and propose regression tests to discover reoccurrences.
Work with engineers and project leads to triage and prioritize issues for resolution.
Partner with infrastructure teams to leverage automation to allow better reliability and scalability.
Support hardware test lab operation within Meta's production data center environment.
Perform a combination of manual and automation test cases to replicate any user facing issues

Required Skills & Experience
Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
12+ years of driving QA strategy and/or equivalent experience.
5+ years of test ownership of an entire product or product lines.
Experience in designing, developing, launching, and sustaining consumer electronics products.
Experience in test planning, test design and execution, performance and stress testing, and implementing and maintaining quality test automation.
Experience debugging applications on Platform, PC, and mobile components.
Experience building, shipping, and maintaining commercial software.
Experience coding in Python, Javascript, C, or C .
Experience in managing black box and white box testing.
