This position will be responsible for the definition and development of a robust QA environment and best practices for Meduit.
This QA Engineer position will focus on a variety of responsibilities, which are part of our Agile development cycle. You will contribute to a high quality, end user experience, to isolate any issues so that the focus can be on patient care.
Education/Experience- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- 5-7 years of experience Software Testing
- Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management experience
Essential Job Functions for QA Engineer III This role includes, but is not limited to the following activities:
- Developing and executing test plans that will put our products through rigorous unit and production level tests
- Writes, executes and maintains test automation; acceptance test-driven development (ATDD) experience is a plus.
- Develops quality assurance standards; adheres to and promotes quality standards.
- Defines, tracks and reports quality assurance metrics such as defect recidivism, defect densities and open defect counts.
Additional Job Functions- Mentor QA Engineers by providing guidance, leadership and oversight; promote SDLC and best practice
- Be able to communicate to status, issues, concerns to Sr. Leadership team
- Provide work, policy, and design guidance to less experienced personnel, act as mentor to QA staff
- Perform other job duties assigned by a competent authority
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for QA Engineer III To perform this role successfully, the
QA Engineer III needs to have the following skills and experience:
- Strong working knowledge with a relational data base like MySQL and MariaDB
- Working knowledge of AWS and .Net/VB.Net
- Working knowledge of Spring Boot and Angular
- Must have a working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies
- Must have a working knowledge of Agile/Scrum Methodology
- Experience with Jira/Confluence Scrum collaboration tools
- Clinical, financial, administrative or departmental experience in a healthcare setting is a plus, but not required
- Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management - Insurance Domain is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
- Must be familiar with Win and UNIX/Linux.
Physical Demands/Working Conditions- This position requires prolonged periods of sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, mouse and other office equipment. Work in this position will be performed in a remote office environment.
