Key Experience(s)

Understanding of a traditional Waterfall delivery methodology
Experience working with on-prem hosted databases and the ability to craft and execute SQL queries against them.
Prior experience as a QA Analyst working in a Mainframe-based software environment.
Prior experience with test case design and execution based off Business Requirements Documentation
Prior experience with the creation and management of defects when a change does not meet the needs of the end user.
Leading defect triage meetings during UAT efforts or other customer-facing calls.
Contribute to planning activities, estimation meetings, monitoring processes and reviewing QA tasks.
Teamwork, co-operative attitude, willingness to help other team members. Previous experience leading successful QA projects and initiatives independently.
Prior experience collaborating with project team members including Developers, Business Analysts, Project Managers, Customers, and others to ensure all are clear in direction and asking clarifying questions to ensure quality targets are met.

Standard Query Language (SQL)

Key Responsibilities:

Work with project teams to identify requirements and estimate the effort required to validate them.

• Independently manage your own workload and escalate to project and company leadership when project goals are put at risk due to resource constraints.

• Design, prepare, and execute test suites created to validate the requirements under test.

• Design, prepare, execute, and manage Regression test suites to validate that changes being introduced do not negatively impact existing functionalities.

• Create and manage defects through closure when functionality does not meet requirements or is otherwise not user-friendly.

• Provide test reports and signoffs when projects are completed and meet quality standards
