As a QA Analyst you will be performing both manual and automated testing, primarily using tools like Selenium and WebDriver.
Job Description
We are looking for a QA Analyst to perform manual and automated testing. This role will be full-time, 6-12+ month contract, and hybrid in Evanston, IL.
Candidates must be able to work on CAI's W2 without a need for sponsorship now or in the future.
What You'll Do:
Manual testing covering functional, non-Functional, and analytical testing
Automated testing using Selenium , WebDriver
Develop test cases and perform test data setup
Understand and write SQL queries
Create test plans and test cases
Agile - Normal course of project execution is under Agile methodology
Predictive/Waterfall - Some of the QA projects run under waterfall methodology
What You'll Need:
Required:
6+ years of testing experience - (hands on UI and data related testing)
3+ years SQL experience, strong understanding of RDBMS concepts, with ability to understand and write complex queries
Manual testing covering functional, non-Functional, and analytical testing
Solid experience in Test Automation using Selenium , WebDriver - developing test cases, test data setup
Ability to understand complex business processes & workflow, functional & technical process of application, perform data analysis, validation, and verification
Experience creating test plans and detailed test cases
Experience preparing requirement traceability documents
Experience with test effort estimation
Experience with Postgres, SQL Server, Java , JavaScript , Excel, Gherkin , Cucumber , GIT
Strong communication skills - ability to interact with senior developers and business product owners
Highly motivated self-starter and team player with ability to work under minimal supervision
Preferred:
Familiarity with JIRA , Confluence, TFS
Experience using JMeter
Experience with HP ALM/QC
.NET, AS400/DB2 (IBM i), SSIS, SSMS, PGADMIN, Python, SAML, RPA
Performance testing

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
