Job Title: QA Analyst
Job Location: Dublin, OH - 100% Onsite
Job Type: Contract

Job Summary:-
Client is looking for a QA Analyst whose primary responsibility would be to test domestic and International (Canada) portfolios. They will be responsible for learning the current restaurant Point of Sale technology stack and applying these learnings to test for the Client's POS applications and end-to-end testing for digital integrations.
This would also include testing in both physical and virtual test labs, point of sales systems, payments, credit card readers and all other components within the restaurant technology stack.

Key Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a software Test Engineer

• Knowledge and experience testing the Aloha POS Solution is a must.

• QSR environment testing experience is a big plus

• Proficient in testing API's, Databases, Windows, and Web applications.

• Experience with software and Windows RCA is required.

• Experience in handling multiple projects in various test environments.

• Have the knowledge/experience writing test cases using the BDD Gherkins format.

• Proven experience in providing end-to-end support of the Test Environments & Test Data copy and refresh to lower environments (Dev, QA, and Staging)

• Defect/Incident Triage, and Defect/Incident resolution for environment activities

• Work closely with software developers and Sysadmin to debug software and system problems

• Expert in test case creation, test data management, defect management, and overall software QA skills

• Self-motivated and individually driven resource who is a quick learner.

• Expert Experience using QA Tools: Jira, Confluence, etc.

• Able to execute the automation scripts with minimal guidance and support.

• Knowledge or experience with Smart Bear Software Suite is a nice-to-have.

Responsibilities

• Primarily focused on manually testing point of sales applications, including payments, Kiosk etc.

• Think out of the box and create Complex Test Cases for both positive, negative and edge case scenarios.

• Always understand and follow QA best practices.

• Ability to create new test cases in the Gherkin format for newer releases.

• Update existing defects to keep up with changing requirements.

• Document detailed defects.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and correct most issues in test environments

• Participate in daily team status meetings

• Excellent Communication and ability to manage multiple concurrent activities

• Lead the project they are working on with minimal guidance

• Work effectively with cross-functional teams and report up on status to the manager.

• Don't mind having to perform redundant testing.
