Our client, a leading player in the financial services industry, is seeking a QA Analyst to join their team. As a QA Analyst, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting various agile teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative work approach which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: QA Analyst
REQUIRED:
- Strong database, ETL, data testing experience - this is key
- Strong experience in writing complex SQL queries using joins and testing database changes.
- Experience executing Unix commands.
- Client uses Selenium and Tosca so experience with these tools is preferred
- Banking experience is a huge plus
Location: Charlotte, NC - hybrid
(we are unable to relocate candidates - must be local to Charlotte or Plano)
Pay Range: $55-60/hr W2
(due to client rules we are unable to work with 3rd party subcontractors; all candidates must be able to work on Experis' W2 directly)
What's the Job? - Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on functional requirements.
- Automate test cases using tools like Selenium and Tosca and database testing.
- Execute all levels of testing, including Functional, Integration, and Regression testing.
- Collaborate with the development team for defect triaging and provide timely solutions.
- Document and troubleshoot defects efficiently throughout the Agile product lifecycle.
What's Needed? - Technical BA/BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, or related field.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in Software Testing, including 5 years in Automation testing.
- Strong experience in writing complex SQL queries and executing Unix commands.
- Familiarity with test management tools like qTest or Octane.
- Experience with Selenium and Tosca.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and working with globally distributed teams.
