We're seeking skilled Python Developers to join their team in designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, reusable, and reliable code. This role will involve contributions across the entire stack, from front-end development to backend infrastructure, and an active role in nurturing a collaborative software engineering culture.
As a Python Developer, you'll work on a diverse set of projects, engaging in hands-on system design, test-driven development (TDD), and building solutions that shape the future of the industry. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, agile environment where your contributions will have a direct impact on the organization's growth and success.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
- Prior experience in Energy, Commodities, Trading, or Finance is highly desirable.
- Strong proficiency in Python.
- Solid experience with AWS and server technologies (Lambda, Kinesis, DynamoDB, API Gateway).
- Familiarity with Docker and/or Kubernetes.
- Experience with TypeScript or Node.JS.
- Knowledge of Angular, CSS, or React is a plus.
- Experience with developing, securing, and managing cloud-scale applications or infrastructure.
This hybrid role requires at least 3 days per week in our Houston office, providing flexibility while fostering collaboration.
