Location: Charlotte, NC - 3 days/week onsite work

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Python Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Python programming, data manipulation using libraries such as Pandas and NumPy, experience in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and proficiency in working with cloud platforms. As a Python Data Engineer, you will collaborate closely with our data science and analytics teams to design and implement data pipelines, process large datasets efficiently, and ensure data quality and integrity across various systems.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure using Python and related technologies.
  • Implement ETL processes to collect, cleanse, and transform data from different sources into formats suitable for analysis.
  • Work closely with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
  • Optimize and troubleshoot data-related issues, ensuring data quality and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data from various sources and systems.
  • Utilize cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) for deploying and managing data pipelines and infrastructure.
  • Implement best practices for data security, privacy, and compliance.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in data engineering and analytics.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with a focus on Python-based development.
  • Strong proficiency in Python programming language, with expertise in Pandas, NumPy, and other relevant libraries.
  • Experience with ETL tools and processes, including data extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, GCP), particularly in deploying data solutions.
  • Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and schema design.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
