Description

The key responsibilities of the Purchasing Supervisor will be:

  • Oversee daily purchasing activities, ensuring orders are placed on time and within budget.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms and prices.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of goods and services while managing quality control.
  • Monitor and manage the purchasing budget, providing regular reports on procurement spending.

Profile


The successful candidate will have:

  • Ability to quickly identify procurement issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong decision-making skills to determine when to negotiate with suppliers or escalate issues to senior management.
  • Develop and enforce purchasing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and legal requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills to track orders, monitor stock levels, and ensure accurate documentation.
  • High level of attention to detail to ensure the correct materials are purchased and delivered on time.
