Job Description Reporting to the Director of Purchasing, you are responsible for leading and managing the day to day success of the Purchasing and Receiving Department. You will lead a talented team of professionals in a luxury resort environment while fostering a culture of excellence.

What you will be doing:
  • Manage, Lead and Train all Purchasing and Receiving staff
  • Ensure all Purchasing and Receiving procedures and purchasing systems are in place to ensure quality, quantity, storage and cost control measures are maintained
  • Estimate costs according to knowledge of market prices and review bid proposals with the ability to negotiate contracts within budgetary limitations
  • Manage Monthly Inventory, oversee Storeroom upkeep.
  • Plan, prioritize, and execute purchasing strategy to maximize the leveraging presented by hotel.
  • Oversee the administration and control of national commitment contracts.
  • Manage supplier-partner relationships to ensure contract compliance with Entegra Buying Group.
  • Maintains a high level of professionalism in all aspects of job performance.
  • Supervise, lead, and motivate the Purchasing team towards achieving exceptional results and employee engagement
  • Ensures the achievement of financial objectives through accurate staffing and scheduling, consistently monitoring productivity and ensuring the accurate administration of payroll.

Qualifications Your experience and skills include:
  • 1-2 Years Experience in a similar role
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities and handle a multitude of tasks, hotel and vendor requests
  • Highly organized, results-oriented with the ability to be flexible and work well under pressure
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
  • Experience with a unionized environment is an advantage
  • Must be physically able to lift 50lbs and possess a valid class 5 driver's license with clear abstract.
Additional Information Salary Range:$70,000 - $80,000 USD

Visa Requirements:Must be legally eligible to work in the United States. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining U.S. work authorization.
