Purchasing Manager We have an immediate opening for a Purchasing Manager in Canton, GA. In this role, you will oversee the procurement of raw materials, components, outside services, and supplies essential for production. You will be responsible for developing purchasing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that procurement activities are cost-effective and align with manufacturing operations. Collaboration with engineering, quality, planning, and production teams will be key to maintaining a seamless supply chain and addressing any issues that arise. About the Role: Develop and execute purchasing strategies to meet production needs. Manage supplier relationships, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement. Collaborate with engineering, quality, planning, and production teams to support manufacturing processes. Monitor and resolve any procurement or supply chain issues to maintain operational efficiency. Who You Are: Bachelor†s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field (preferred). 10+ years of procurement or purchasing management experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong negotiation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite. Understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain management. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Extra Credit: Experience with Epicor, or any ERP/MRP program. Things to Note: This is a temp to perm opportunity. The starting rate for this position is $38.00-$44.00 depending on prior experience.
