Summary: The Junior Purchasing Specialist-FF&E provides outstanding service based on Company Standards through the coordination of activities involved with procuring products as they relate to Rooms Division needs. They will work with vendors to fulfill the five rights in a transaction (right quality, right quantity, right cost, right time, and right place). Additionally, they will collaborate with all Rosen Hotels & Resorts entities to understand and support their needs.
Responsibilities:- Assists with the procurement functions of FF&E items related.
- Maintains current vendor list and catalog resources.
- Maintains files on FF&E items ordered.
- Confers with vendors to obtain product pricing, samples, availability, and delivery schedule.
- Assist with reconciliation of vendor issues, including billing disputes and warranty service issues.
- Maintains records of warranty and care instructions where applicable.
- Assist Specialist with product research and order processing of equipment, vendor issues, etc.
- Other Purchasing duties as needed.
Experience/Qualifications:- 1+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to legally work in the USA.
Education and Certification(s)/License(s): - High school diploma or equivalent is required.
