LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a growing company in Phoenix, AZ that is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator to join their team. This is a full-time onsite Monday through Friday position. Must have 2 years of Purchasing experience to qualify. Pay range $21.00-$24.00 per hour depending on prior experience.

Job Summary: The Purchasing Coordinator will be responsible for managing the procurement process, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This role involves coordinating with suppliers, maintaining inventory levels, and supporting various departments to meet their purchasing needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement Management: Research and identify potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with vendors to ensure the best possible terms and quality of goods.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments to forecast needs and ensure timely replenishment of stock.
  • Order Processing: Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and resolve any issues related to shipments or billing discrepancies.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data to support strategic sourcing decisions and improve procurement processes.
  • Compliance: Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including finance, operations, and customer service, to understand their needs and provide procurement support.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably in a similar industry.
  • Skills: Strong negotiation skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Software: Experience with procurement software such as SAP, QuickBooks, or similar systems.
  • Attributes: Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
