Purchasing Coordinator

Purchasing Coordinator (Contract-to-hire; 6-month contract)

You are a detail-oriented Purchasing Coordinator to support its Purchasing Manager in managing subcontractor agreements, vendor communications, pricing documentation, and administrative purchasing functions. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction or contracting environments and strong skills in documentation, pricing analysis, and vendor coordination. This is a contract-to-hire position with long-term potential at a fast-growing global technology services company.

Location: Fremont, CA (Hybrid Schedule) :

This position pays: $28.00 to $29.00 per hour

What you will be doing:

• Prepare and manage contract documentation, including agreements, scopes of work, and bid confirmations
• Validate pricing, create bid comparisons, and process contracts via DocuSign
• Upload and organize signed documents in Feith
• Obtain pricing from trade partners for new plans and options
• Review and create EPOs; validate and process requests from operations and vendors
• Investigate and respond to trade partner payment inquiries; liaise with Accounting
• Track and maintain vendor insurance records; follow up to resolve compliance issues
• Assist with data entry, purchase orders, and general vendor support tasks

What you bring:

• 1-3 years of experience in purchasing or subcontractor agreement processing, ideally in residential construction
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to quickly learn tools such as E1
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Detail-oriented with effective time management and prioritization skills
• Collaborative approach with the ability to work cross-functionally across departments
