RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PURCHASING COORDINATOR:
- The Purchasing Coordinator will compile and sort documents, such as invoices and checks, substantiating business transactions.
- The Purchasing Coordinator will purchase office supplies, supplies for shipping, tools.
- The Purchasing Coordinator will create purchase orders and see the full process through.
- The Purchasing Coordinator will investigate the best price for products.
- The Purchasing Coordinator will handle special projects as assigned by management and procurement staff.
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED FOR THE PURCHASING ASSISTANT ROLE: - 3 years+ in an office environment
- Purchasing background a PLUS
- Attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
