Required education and experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic mechanic experience required
- Measurement or pumping/operating experience preferred
- Needs to understand the operations of production equipment, pipelines and flow of gas and liquids in pipelines
- Must have basic math skills
- Driving position- Must meet Driver Acceptability Profile requirements

JOB DESCRIPTION
Position Summary
- Pumping Unit maintenance: ensuring the proper operation to include units are serviced on time, units are in good working order, working with supervisor to resolve any relevant issues.
- Diagnose pumping unit engine problems and repair as needed.
- Works independently in the field on Dugan Production oil and gas lease and production equipment locations

- Know and understand the function of the different types of pumping units and pumping unit engines.
- Make and keep all pumping units and pumping unit engines compliant with all state and federal standards.
- Inspect all pumping unit and pumping unit engines in the field to include proper cleanliness and function. Properly fill out a pumping unit inspection form on all pumping units in the field.
- Properly identify problems with pumping units and pumping unit engines for maintenance, repair or replacement.
- Locate and keep inventory of all pumping units and pumping unit engines.
- Respond to any requests for assistance from field personnel for repairs or service on pumping units and pumping unit engines.
- Employee may also be asked by supervisor or other management to perform tasks would be outside the parameters of duties or job functions, you will be expected to complete these job functions as well
