Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Pulse Current Injection (PCI) Test Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting PCI testing to determine and ensure the grounding effectiveness of installed EMP hardening control measures at topside Points of Entry (POE) on various projects. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Pulse Current Injection (PCI) testing on shipboard systems and equipment to ensure compliance with MIL-STD-1310 standards.
Develop and implement test plans and methodologies for PCI testing
Analyze test results and provide detailed reports on the grounding effectiveness of EMP hardening control measures
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, project management, and client representatives, to ensure successful project execution
Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
Provide technical support and guidance to clients and team members on PCI testing procedures and best practices. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in PCI testing or a related field.
Strong knowledge of MIL-STD-1310 standards and EMP mitigation techniques1.
Proficiency in using PCI testing equipment and tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
