This role involves comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, andtreatment of patients with pulmonary conditions, ensuring optimal patient careand management.
Location: Montebello, Whittier, Long Beach, Downey, Fullerton, CA
WorkSchedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Compensation: $132,756 - $199,134 annual salary (bonus eligible) & benefits package
KeyResponsibilities: - Providedirect clinical services using evidence-based practice standards in accordancewith physician collaboration and established protocols.
- Independentlyperform physical assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and specialized riskassessments for a wide range of pulmonary conditions, including high-risk andcrisis situations.
- Obtaincomprehensive patient health histories and conduct thorough physicalexaminations.
- Order,interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to assess and diagnose pulmonaryhealth conditions.
- Develop,document, and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs andclinical findings.
- Prescribemedications, therapies, and other appropriate treatments in alignment with bestpractices and regulatory guidelines.
- Monitorand evaluate patient responses to treatments, adjusting care plans as necessaryto ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaboratewith physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinatepatient care and improve treatment effectiveness.
Requirements: - Master'sor Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Currentand unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of California.
- Boardcertification as a Nurse Practitioner in a relevant specialty (e.g., Pulmonary,Acute Care, Family, or Adult-Gerontology).
Experience: - Minimumof 2 years of clinical experience as an NP, preferably in pulmonary medicine,critical care, or related specialties.
- Strongbackground in managing chronic pulmonary conditions such as COPD, asthma, andinterstitial lung diseases.
- Proficiencyin conducting and interpreting pulmonary function tests and other diagnosticassessments.
- Excellentclinical decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Abilityto work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with amultidisciplinary team.
