Facility in Durango, CO seeking Critical Care locums coverage Rates: $300/hr Orientation: $150/hr Nightly Call: $600 per night call to hold the pager, to include 2.5 hours gratis Call Back: $330 per hour of patient contact hours, after gratis hours are completed Holiday: 1.5x the regular rate Average worked Callback Hours: 0.5 - 1 hour Position Overview - Setting: Inpatient, Trauma Level III
- Dates Needed:
- Initial Coverage: March 14 (8a) - 17 (8a)
- Ongoing needs in 3-4 day stints
Shift & Call Details - Shifts:
- 8a-8p: Onsite
- 8p-8a: Night call
- Call Responsibilities:
- Average callback hours: 0.5 - 1 hour
- Providers called back typically once every 2-3 shifts.
- Average Census:
- ICU Patients: 7-8 daily
- ICU Admissions: 1-2 per day
Clinical Duties - Unit Size: 10-bed ICU.
- Required Procedures:
- Bronchoscopies
- Line placements
- Intubations
- Support Staff: RNs available.
- Collaboration: Open ICU working with other specialties for consultations
Requirements - Certifications:
- Critical Care Board Certification - Required
- Pulmonary Subspecialty Certification - Required
- ACLS, DEA - Required
- Licensure:
- Active CO License or IMLC (LOQ required).
- Experience:
- Proficient in required procedures (bronchoscopies, line placements, intubations).
Additional Notes - EMR: Epic
- Training Required: Virtual and onsite training (modules must be completed beforehand).
- Credentialing Timeline:
- Clean files: 45 days
- Standard: 90 days
