The Pulmonary Critical Care opportunity in Santa Cruz, CA:
-Start date: as soon as credentialed (90 day time line for credentialing)
-Duration: on-going until permanent hire
-Shift: 7a-7p
-Census: 16 ICU beds (8 beds per PUD/CC physician)
-ICU procedures required: Central lines, chest tubes, vent management, run codes, thoracentesis
-ICU open to hospitalists; CC doc manages patients, intensive medicine. Hospitalists deal with social issues, planning with discharge, manages regular conditions
-ICU consists of med/surg/cardio/neuro patients
Requirements: Board Certified or Board Eligible in PUD CC, active CA medical license
