Trustpoint.One is excited to partner with an Am Law 100 law firm in their search for a Public Relations Analyst in their NYC office. This hybrid role will join the firm's marketing and communications team and will play a key role in business development initiatives. Successful candidates will 5+ years' relevant experience within a law firm.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market conditions and trends; monitoring media coverage and developing professional relationships with external media.
- Collection, analysis and report of Public Relations team data.
- Draft and distribute press releases, announcements, general advisories, and awards entries.
- Prepare briefing materials for media interviews.
- Identify opportunities for pitching and placing lawyer-authored articles; managing approvals process.
- Other duties and special projects as needed.
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in public relations, media relations or corporate communications within a law; experience within a large law firm preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in public relations, journalism or related field.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Strong time-management; able to prioritize competing deadlines and projects while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to monitor emails and work outside of regular business hours, including early mornings, evenings and weekends, as needed.
