Client Overview: Our client, in the agency space, is looking for a Men's PR Specialist to join their team.
Role Overview: We're on the hunt for a Men's PR Specialist who lives and breathes the intersection of streetwear, sports, and culture-and knows how to translate that into killer media placements. You're not just following what's moving the needle in men's fashion-you're ahead of it. This is a full-time, hands-on role where you'll be leading media relations and storytelling strategy for two iconic brands. You'll own your beat-securing placements, pitching with purpose, and finding fresh angles that connect style with sport.
Public Relations Specialist Responsibilities:
- Drive PR strategy across top men's fashion and culture outlets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with editors, stylists, influencers, and media contacts in the men's style/streetwear world
- Identify and pitch timely, relevant story angles that fuse fashion and sport
- Collaborate with internal teams on campaign ideas, media moments, and product launches
- Proactively secure media placements and brand partnerships that matter
- Serve as a connector-knowing who's who and what's next
- Own influencer strategy and execution
- Provide fast, clear comms and adapt quickly in a fast-moving culture landscape
Public Relations Specialist Qualifications:
- Have 6-8 years of PR experience, ideally with agency background
- Bring deep knowledge of men's fashion, especially streetwear and its evolution in the sports space
- Are plugged into cultural conversations and trends with the media contacts to match
- Have solid experience working with or for culturally influential brands and talent
- Know how to secure traction-media wins, influencer alignments, and partnerships
- Are proactive, resourceful, and scrappy in the best way
- Can own it end-to-end: placement, story, strategy, execution
- Communicate fast, clearly, and confidently
